Children join our Cubs from our Beaver Colony or because they have heard great things from their friends about the things our Cubs gets up to every week, and want to be part of our packs adventure.

Our Cub programme is run for boys and girls aged 8 to 10½ years old, and precedes Scouts.

When do our Cubs meet?

Our Cubs meet between 6.45- 8.15pm on Thursday evenings (during school term).

What do our Cubs do?

During their time in the Pack, Cubs will get a chance take part in all kinds of indoor and outdoor adventures like going on trips, days out to places like the zoo, theme parks, farms and campsites.

They will also try lots of different activities like, swimming, music, exploring, computing, collecting and camping.

There is a vast range of badges to be earned, including the highest award the Chief Scout Silver Award, which Cubs can wear on their uniforms to show everyone how well they are doing.

How do you join our Cub Pack?

If you would like to join, just ask Mum, Dad or the person who looks after you to email us at the address below, with your name and age, and we will forward an application form to you… and we’ll take it from there.
