Our Beaver programme is run for boys and girls aged 5¾ to 8 years old, and precedes Cub Scouts.

Children join our Beavers for many reasons. It might be that they have heard great things from their friends about all the adventures our Colony gets up to every week. On the other hand, perhaps you as a parent or guardian are keen for them to join a youth organisation.

When do our Beavers meet?

Our Beavers meet between 6.00-7.15pm Friday evening, (during school term and half terms).

What do our Beavers do?
  • make friends
  • play games & have fun
  • make & do interesting projects
  • go on sleepovers & outdoor adventures
  • work towards 22 Activity, 15 Staged and
    6 Challenge Badges.

...and ultimately hope to gain the Chief Scouts Bronze Award, which is the highest award available to Beaver Scouts.

How do you join our
Beaver Colony?

If you would like to join, just ask your Mum, Dad or the person who looks after you to email us, at the address below, with your name and age and we will forward an application form to you… and we’ll take it from there.
