Joining the Group
How to Apply: If you would like your child to join the 8th Cheam Scout Group as a Beaver, Cub or Scout, we would be very pleased to hear from you. Please email 8thcheamscoutgroup@gmail.com.
Please include your name, your child’s name and your child’s age, and a member of the team will be in touch as soon as possible.
- Beaver Scouts – ages 6 to 8
- Cub Scouts – ages 8 to 10½
- Scouts – ages 10 to 14½
Your enquiry will be forwarded to the relevant Team Leader, who will then send you an application form by email.
Please note: if your child is interested in joining Beaver Scouts, we recommend adding them to the waiting list well in advance of their sixth birthday, as places can fill up quickly.
Volunteering with Us
We are always delighted to welcome additional volunteers to help support our young people as they develop valuable Skills for Life. At present, we are particularly keen to hear from people who can:
- support the delivery of a section programme
- assist with the upkeep of the group headquarters
We would be very pleased to hear from you too.
