Volunteering. #GoodForYou.

Why not give our 4-week volunteering
challenge a try?

  • Helping with refreshments
  • Supporting activities
  • Helping set up and pack away at events
  • Offering general support to the group

You can give as little or as much time as feels right for you.

Volunteers like you help us give young people the opportunities, encouragement, and experiences they deserve.

Volunteering is a lovely way to give something back to your community while also doing something positive for yourself.

It can help you build confidence, learn new skills, and feel more connected to the people and places around you.

Why not get in touch and see how volunteering could work for you?

Volunteer for just 4 weeks and discover the difference you can make.

  • Week 1: Come along and see what we do
  • Week 2: Start getting involved
  • Week 3: Try taking on a little more
  • Week 4: Decide whether Scouting feels right for you.

There are lots of ways to help. You might enjoy working directly with young people, or you may prefer supporting the group behind the scenes. Whatever time you can offer, you will be making a real difference.

Our Aim

We want to grow our team of leaders and support volunteers so we can keep offering a fun, welcoming, and inspiring Scouting experience for young people in Cheam.

We are also looking for people who can support our Trustee Board and sub-teams, helping the group run smoothly and stay strong for the future.
