2020 Hall Spring Clean

Spring-WebScout HQ Spring Clean 2020

Saturday 4th April – 10am-4pm
Sunday 5th April – 11am-4pm

A handful of groups across the District are privileged to own their own dedicated Scout Head Quarters and fortunately we are one of them!

This brings a huge benefit to the type of activities we can offer but at the same time requires a significantly greater level of upkeep and maintenance and funding.

So, over the weekend of 4th/5th April we are ask for a few hours of your time to assists with our Scout HQ Spring Clean, some of the tasks are listed below:

  • Clearing the gutters.
  • Vacuum the hall – top to bottom.
  • Washing the lobby/kitchen/toilet floors.
  • Tidying& clearing leaves and litter both inside and outside the hall.
  • Paint the new fencing along the garage (both sides).
  • Clean all the lower windows inside and out.
  • Clean ledge and windows in main hall.
  • Prune and tidy long flower beds adjacent to the offices.
(A full list will be posted on the notice board in the lobby at the HQ,)

You don’t need to commit to the entire time, even an hour or two will make a difference.
Please therefore feel free to drop in any time during the hours above, armed with your feather duster, where very grateful members of the Executive team will provide you with tea/coffee and encouragement all day.

Thank you for your continued support.
